Going My Way. Today

Both our Priest and Deacon were ill today. I did the readings, including the Gospel (though I couldn’t call it that).

It ended with, “I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

And that summarizes Christianity for me. We will be known to be followers of Christ by how much we love each other. That’s ALL Christ asks us to do.

Difficult? Maybe. But if we don’t criticize, judge, be vindictive, then it is easy, to have an unconditional love for all.

Your heart will be unburden and “surely goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life.” (Psalm 23)
