Going My Way. Today

So Joseph Tacopina recently left the Trump lawyer team. A large man of Italian descent, he looks almost Mafioso. (Yes, that’s stereotyping.) So being a MSNBC watcher, I saw he was going to be on Reverend Al Sharpton’s “Politics Nation”, and I watched.

Evidently, Tacopina worked on several “Civil Right” cases with the Reverend and are good friends. I’ve seen Reverend Al a few times in Prospect Heights where I lived as well at “Juniors” in downtown Brooklyn outside of Long Island University where I got my MBA.

Tacopina didn’t want to discuss why he left because of confidentiality, but added that staying with Trump did not align with his compass. Sharpton felt it was more of his moral compass, which I agree.

I like Tacopina now, a lot. I was wrong to prejudge him.
